Getting Started

PROVE it! supports Reading & Language Arts for grades 3 through English II — the full STAAR-tested range in Texas. The PROVE strategy works across all RLA question types including multiple choice, short constructed response (SCR), extended constructed response (ECR), and STAAR 2.0 interactive item types.

No. All student sessions are tied to a teacher or campus license. Teachers create and manage student access — students cannot self-register or access the platform independently. This is by design and ensures FERPA compliance.

Teachers can upload any PDF reading or language arts assessment. PROVE it! is question-type agnostic — the PROVE strategy works on any reading comprehension or revising & editing question, whether it came from STAAR, a district benchmark, a teacher-created test, or a passage bank. A curated content library is also available for teachers who want ready-made assessments.

PROVE it! teaches strategy, not content. A test prep platform gives students more questions to answer. PROVE it! teaches students how to think through every question using the PROVE framework — Preview, Read, Omit, Verify, Explain. The goal is to build confident, strategic test-takers who transfer that thinking to any assessment, not students who’ve memorized a question bank.

Accounts & Billing

The Teacher plan is a single-teacher license — everything you need to run PROVE it! in your own classroom. The Campus plan covers up to 10 teachers under one account with a shared resource library, a campus admin dashboard, and Clever/ClassLink rostering support. It’s designed for a principal or department chair who wants the whole RLA team on the same strategy. There is no minimum number of teachers — even a 3-person team can buy a Campus plan.

Monthly billing is available on the Teacher plan at $19/month. Campus and District plans are annual-only. Annual billing on the Teacher plan is available at $149/year — the equivalent of about two free months. You can pause your monthly Teacher subscription during summer (June–July) without cancelling.

Yes. Campus and District purchases can be invoiced with net-30 terms. We provide a quote letter, W-9, and Texas SB 820 documentation on request. Email hello@inbetweenthelattes.com with your district name and number of teachers and we’ll send a purchase-order-ready quote within 1 business day.

We are in the process of applying for cooperative contract awards on TIPS and BuyBoard for the 2026–27 school year. In the meantime, Campus and District quotes are structured to stay within principal-discretionary and curriculum-director approval thresholds for most Texas ISDs. Contact hello@inbetweenthelattes.com for current procurement options.

Using the Platform

After a student completes a PROVE session, teachers see a full class dashboard showing each student’s performance across all five PROVE steps — not just their answer accuracy. You can see exactly which students built a strong PAT list, which ones found real text evidence, and which ones wrote a complete explanation. Clicking any student name opens their individual learning plan with specific, data-driven coaching recommendations tied to their weak steps.

Yes. PROVE it! supports both Reading mode (full five-step PROVE strategy with PAT list, annotation, evidence, and explanation) and Revising & Editing mode (adapted for grammar and mechanics questions, with sentence-level flagging and the “plug it back in” verify step). Both modes are included in all paid plans.

Google Classroom sync is available on all paid plans. Campus and District plans also support Clever and ClassLink for automatic rostering. Single sign-on (SSO) is available on District plans.

Onboarding Guide

Getting your classroom or campus up and running with PROVE it!

For Individual Teachers

1

Create your teacher account

Sign up with your school email. Your account is ready to use immediately — no approval process, no waiting period. Start on the Teacher plan or begin with the free tier to explore.

2 minutes
2

Add your class roster

Import from Google Classroom, or add students manually by first name (or initials — no last names or emails required for students). Students never create accounts themselves.

5 minutes
3

Choose or upload your first assessment

Browse the curated STAAR-aligned question library and assign a ready-made passage, or upload any PDF test you already use. PROVE it! will walk students through the strategy on your content.

5 minutes
4

Introduce the PROVE strategy to your class

Walk students through the five steps using the live demo on the home page — it’s built exactly like the student experience. Most teachers do this as a whole-class activity before the first independent session.

15–20 minutes
5

Run your first session & review the dashboard

After students complete the assessment, your teacher dashboard shows class-wide PROVE step data instantly — no grading required. Click any student name to see their individual report and recommended next steps.

Immediate

For Campus & District Accounts

1

Receive your account setup email

After purchase, your campus admin receives a setup link within 1 business day. The admin account controls teacher seat assignment, shared library access, and the campus dashboard.

Within 1 business day of purchase
2

Invite your teachers

Enter teacher email addresses in the admin portal or connect via Clever/ClassLink for automatic rostering. Each teacher gets their own login and class management tools, all under your campus account.

10 minutes
3

Share the PROVE strategy with your team

We recommend a brief team walkthrough before the first student session — 20–30 minutes to align on the five steps and discuss how each teacher will introduce the strategy to students. Contact hello@inbetweenthelattes.com if you’d like to book a virtual orientation session for your team.

20–30 minutes
4

Run your first campus-wide assessment

Assign the same assessment across multiple classes using the campus shared library. The campus admin dashboard aggregates data across all classes, so you can see PROVE step trends school-wide alongside individual teacher class data.

Bringing PROVE it! to a campus, department, or district

What to Expect

When you email our sales team, here’s exactly what happens next:

1

You receive a quote within 1 business day

Tell us your district name and approximate number of RLA teachers. We’ll send a quote letter, per-teacher rate breakdown, W-9, and Texas SB 820 data security documentation — everything your campus or district needs to cut a purchase order.

2

We answer any compliance or procurement questions

Most Texas district curriculum directors have the same questions: FERPA compliance, TXSDPA, SB 820, and whether PROVE it! qualifies as an instructional materials purchase under IMTA. We have answers and documentation ready for all of these.

3

Your account is live within 1 business day of payment

No implementation timeline. No onboarding call required (though one is available). Teachers can be using PROVE it! the same week the purchase order is processed.

Pricing Reference

Campus and District pricing scales per teacher with no minimum seat count. A 3-teacher campus and a 500-teacher district can both purchase PROVE it!. See the pricing page for starting rates, or email us for a custom quote based on your exact teacher count.

Pricing is structured so that most Texas ISD purchases stay within principal-discretionary or curriculum-director approval authority — no board agenda item required for the majority of campus and district contracts.
